through my window

In through my window, Aliyah Danielle depicts the thoughts and ideas one might have as they watch a day go by. Developing on minimalistic ideas, she artfully represents the antithesis of simplicity and complexity within daily life, allowing the ideas to coexist. The piece is predominantly composed in a lo-fi style and includes elements of contemporary jazz, blues, funk and swing, contributing to the variety of horn music outside of the classical standard repertoire.
